Los Angeles Lakers won thrilling match against Phoenix Suns to reach Semi Final spot. They won this match by 106-103 in this NBA season. Lebron James plays important role in last quarter and scored 15 of his 31 points.
Anthony Davis and Austin Reaves contributed well in game for Lakers. Davis scored 27 points and 15 rebounds. Reaves also performed 20 points for his team. Lakers will be playing against New Orleans in Las Vegas on Thursday. NBA cup final match is scheduled on Saturday.
Players are motivated after their victory, they will keep on showing good game if they are playing for something big. James seems confident as he also scored 11 assists, 8 rebounds and 5 steals in the game. They are enjoying this opportunity and would like to perform better on this big stage. This is going to be a proud moment for their nation, families and communities.
James is just 21 years old, who put his team ahead in the game with his shooting abilities. In final period, he did scored 15 out 19 points. He is a key player to watch in Semi Final.
On other hand, Kevin Durant was playing well for the Suns. He scored 31 points but misses on 3 point attempt. Suns were having better record playing against Lakers but they lost for the 3rd time in the season against Los Angeles.
Match was going neck to neck 102-101 for Lakers and Reaves beautiful 3 points just before 15 seconds from the time of match ending. Time Out become controversial, because James called for timed out when Booker passed the ball away from the Reaves. Suns were not happy with this decision. As per them, it was a loose ball and you can’t have time out on a loose ball. They want this to be reviewed but whistle blows and they felt too much frustrated.
Durant had different point of view on this call. He said, it’s a 48 minute game and not ballgame. Blame game is not good because this a part of game. Referee can not be right all the time. We shall never worry about these calls and focus on game.
Booker and Allen remain top scorer for Suns with scores of 21 points each. Lakers remains unbeaten in group stage.
However fans of both teams have different opinion about things happens in the game.
Suns missed presence of their key player Bradley Beal. He was out of the game with his back injury. Team is little disappointed with the defeat as the game was very close.
