Popular social media platform X which is known as twitter was down. Many users facing issues in reading tweets, only ads were visible. Issue was faced on both website and mobile version. In place of showing regular tweets, it was showing “Welcome to your timeline” on the feed.
As per information from sources, approx. 70000 of the users reported this issue. Reason for this downtime is yet not confirmed. They were able to see their own tweets and ads on their profiles. Some users were able to host spaces as well in the meantime.
Twitter was having the issue, so people were using Facebook and discussing the issue. They were confused whether this issue is faced only on their profile or it is technical glitch/downtime from the host.
Some users were making funny memes on it and fun time in spaces. This issue is trending everywhere and people seems concerned about it on other media coverage.
This downtime is not new to the users, as they faced it earlier this year in month of March and July as well. Every time, issue faced by users was different. It seems Elon Musk and team is working on fixing the repeated issue, so as users can enjoy quality time on this platform.
